Devanagari follows the standard South-Indian recitation used with the M. S. Subbulakshmi recording (opening verses, dhyāna, the 108 name-ślokas, and phalaśruti). IAST is generated from that Devanagari. English and word make-up are original first-principles glosses on this site, not a reprint of Śaṅkara, Parāśara Bhaṭṭa, or a modern commentary. Short phrases were checked against public word-by-word lists (including Swami Krishnananda’s names for ślokas 1–108, especially https://www.swami-krishnananda.org/vishnu/vishnu_2.html for 37–72) and rewritten here; commentary expansions are not copied.
