अर्जुन उवाच। एवं सततयुक्ता ये भक्तास्त्वां पर्युपासते। ये चाप्यक्षरमव्यक्तं तेषां के योगवित्तमाः।

[12.1] Arjuna said: Those bhaktas who, always joined, worship you, and those who also worship the akṣara, the avyakta — which of them are the best knowers of yoga?

[12.2] The Lord said: Those who rest the manas in me, who are ever joined and worship me, endowed with the highest śraddhā — they are held by me to be the most yoked.

[12.5] The hardship is greater for those whose minds cling to the avyakta; for the avyakta goal is reached with difficulty by those who bear bodies.
